Google has surely approved Firefox browser to be able to stream its TV service. The change was spotted by YourTechExplained. In the past, Google’s live TV service was restricted to Chrome browser but extending the support to other browsers is a good move which will lead to an increase in audience. On the other hand, Firefox is now the first non-Google browser to enjoy such privilege.
Users who are not using either Chrome or Firefox have to be patient as they are the only two major browsers supported now. Probably, it should come to Safari, Edge, or other browsers in no time. According to Google support page, the company is “working to bring YouTube TV to more browsers in the future.”
