Swiss watch manufacturer Tag Heuer has unveiled Connected Modular 41 Android Wear Smartwatch, a much smaller version of Connected Modular 45 which had a 45mm case. The Connected Modular 41 comes with a diameter of 41mm, it is going to be cheaper in price and you can’t ignore the upgraded specifications that is onboard the device.
People with smaller wrists will prefer the new Connected Modular 41 over the 45mm version (Modular 45) which seemed to target individuals with larger wrists. It wouldn’t come as a surprise since the wearable market is full of huge smartwatches.
Tag Heuer Connected Modular 41 features a 390 x 390 AMOLED display now giving 326ppi, being a compensation for its small size and led to increased screen resolution unlike the Connected Modular 45 giving 287ppi display. We can say it’s an improved version of the latter.
There is 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage onboard the Connected Modular 41. It is water resistant up to 50 meters, and features GPS, an NFC for Google Pay. You can customize the TAG Heuer dials. The Smartwatch is compatible with phones running Android 4.4 and iOS 9 or later.
