Vivo X20 Plus UD, world’s first smartphone with in-display fingerprint scanner came to limelight during CES 2018 and also won awards from some technology companies present in the gathering. Vivo is a Chinese smartphone brand who decided to beat the likes of Samsung and Apple to embed a working fingerprint scanner into the display of its mobile phone. Not many know that Vivo is among top five innovative smartphone companies in the world.
Vivo has collaborated with a US-based sensor company called Synaptics to make the Vivo X20 Plus UD.
According to The Verge, Vivo X20 Plus UD features a 6.43-inch 2160 x 1080 18:9 OLED display with slim bezels on the top & bottom and powered by Snapdragon 635 processor. It has a dual 12-megapixel cameras, 3,905mAh battery and not forgetting the award winning in-display fingerprint sensor.
The pricing for the device is yet to be known but pre-orders start today as we speak but only in China.
