A new feature that allows Snapchatters to add Giphy animated stickers to their snaps has been unveiled. The feature resembles the one brought to Instagram Stories some weeks back. The recent updates been rolled out to Snapchat have caused a stir among its users who opined that the app is better off with the way it used to be.
As part of the ongoing updates, Snap also adds a new feature called Tabs, which will enable users to properly arrange and see the Stories that are of utmost importance to them. You can use Tabs to sort through friends with active Stories, Group Chats, and Discover subscriptions. It is worth mentioning that the Tabs feature will be rolled out to Friends and Discover pages.
Do you want to add new stickers to your photo or video snap? Simply do the following:
- Tap the sticker icon and search for the image you want to use for your photo or video.
- Your Snap GIF sticker can be scaled by using your fingers to pinch the screen or add more than one Sticker.
- Easily remove a sticker by pressing and holding on it and dragging it to the bin.
- Multiple GIFs can be added to your video. There is an option to pin sticker to a position in your video by pressing and holding it, and the sticker will move, rotate, or scale to whatever you pinned it to.
Snap says the Tab function will roll out “soon” on iOS, with Android to get the feature “in the coming weeks.”
