OnePlus 6 Specs finally confirmed: Snapdragon 845, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed some of the key specs that will be featured in the company’s next flagship smartphone which will likely be announced several weeks from now. The OnePlus 6 will sport a Snapdragon 845 processor, just as most high-end Android phone in 2018 will feature one, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Lau in a forum post titled “Our Pursuit of Burdenless Speed” revealed the key specifications of the OnePlus 6; he further talked about how OnePlus will bring about a “burdenless experience” through “creating a lasting impression of speed and smoothness, throughout all-day use.” To help achieve that aim, the company has created a specialized team called Team FSE (Fast, Stable, Efficient).

Although not much have been spoken about OnePlus 6 release date, but with the recent twitter tease and forum post, surely the launch of the device is around the corner.

  1. That much ram and that much on-board storage. I was skeptic any phone with those specs could even survive without imploding.

I mean, if smartphones had indeed reached this tipping point, wouldn’t the best guys like Samsung and Apple have jumped on it already?

I’m not saying that the one plus guys aren’t capable of making machines such as this but I’m starting to hope this doesn’t remind us of Samsung’s catastrophic Galaxy Note 7 ?

And Mr. Kachi, if you’re open to guest posting please do contact me. I’d love to write some tech stuff here.
