Android 9.0 Pie we all have been waiting for is now official

We can now take a fresh breathe and relax as Google has finally announced the Android 9.0 Pie. Before now, a lot of people have been guessing the name the company will come up with for the new version which comes after Android 8.0 Oreo. Anyways, it’s Pie or simply Android P and trust me, Android users should be ready to get a slice of it.

Android Authority reveals that most of the new features tested during the Android P beta builds made it to the final version. The features are Adaptive Battery, App Actions, App Slices, New gesture navigation, Security and privacy features, and other little changes.

Pixel smartphones will start receiving update to the new Android 9.0 Pie via OTA from August 6, 2018. Also, Android phones that took part in the Beta program and Android One smartphones are expected to receive theirs by the end of this fall.
